CARLY RICHARDSON
GENERAL COUNSEL - ENTAIN
Carly Richardson joined Entain Australia in May 2018 and took on the role of General Counsel in July 2019. She leads the Legal & Compliance team, which is responsible for legal and regulatory obligations, customer safety policies and strategy, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations and stakeholder engagement.
During her time at Entain, Carly has overseen implementation of measures that have significantly changed the wagering advertising landscape, including measures under the National Consumer Protection Framework and as part of Entain’s continuous improvement program for customer safety.
Carly also works closely with her colleagues in the global Entain Group to help deliver best practice and forward-thinking in relation to customer safety and AML/CTF, and has access to insights from various jurisdictions relating to advertising regulation.
Prior to joining Entain, Carly had over 12 years’ experience in legal private practice, predominantly at King & Wood Mallesons working across a range of practice areas include competition, litigation, IP/IT and corporate.
Carly is a member of the Law Society of Queensland and Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.
