Terrie Benfield
Racing Integrity Commissioner, Victorian Government
Terrie Benfield is Victoria’s Racing Integrity Commissioner, appointed in May 2025. In this independent role, she provides assurance on the integrity systems and processes of Victoria’s racing controlling bodies.
Terrie has over a decade of experience in the racing industry, including senior leadership and regulatory roles at Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV), advising the GRV Board and CEO and leading multidisciplinary teams across legal, governance, finance, risk, compliance, technology, and people service functions.
Terrie has also held executive and legal roles at the Department of Education, the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office, and the Victorian Gambling Licences Review and Transition Project. She holds an Executive Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
