Valerio Veo has built a 25-year career at the crossroads of media, sport, and technology, leading digital transformation and fan engagement strategies across some of the world’s most iconic brands. Starting as a journalist with the ABC and SBS, he honed his storytelling craft before moving into digital media leadership roles at Network Ten, Optus, and the AFL.
At ESPN, Valerio served as Head of Product, overseeing ESPN’s digital platforms in Australia and New Zealand, and scaling FootyTips into the nation’s largest online gaming community with more than 1.3 million active players each year. His work at ESPN and Disney extended to launching local digital platforms, driving audience growth, and shaping products that redefined fan engagement.
He later took on senior digital leadership at The Walt Disney Company, where as Director of Digital he managed strategy across Disney, ESPN, National Geographic, and Fox, overseeing execution across all digital platforms in Australia and New Zealand.
Now through Three Tomorrows, Valerio helps organisations navigate the disruptive forces of AI, web3, and changing media consumption habits. With deep expertise across sports, entertainment, and emerging tech, he provides a future-focused lens on how culture, storytelling, and innovation can reshape fan connection in the digital age.
