Andrew Hore-Lacy is Chief Executive Officer of Thoroughbred Breeders Australia & Aushorse, the national bodies representing Australia’s thoroughbred breeding industry and promoting Australian bloodstock.
Before joining TBA & Aushorse, Andrew spent 15 years with the Seven Network, most recently as Head of Horse Racing, leading the team responsible for Seven’s racing content and programming. His broader media career included senior production roles across major sporting events such as the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Australian Open and Olympic Games.
Andrew also has a lifelong personal connection to thoroughbred breeding and racing through his family’s involvement in the sport. As CEO, he works across breeding, bloodstock and racing, with a particular focus on the commercial and structural issues shaping the industry’s future. His role includes advocating to government on behalf of breeders, supporting workforce development and participation, attracting investment, and strengthening collaboration across the broader thoroughbred racing ecosystem.
