Detective Sergeant Anthony Thomas is a supervisor with the Victoria Police Sporting Integrity Unit, drawing on over 25 years of frontline policing experience across operational and leadership roles. His career includes substantial leadership and investigative experience across trans-national organised crime (including joint-agency investigations), kidnapping, extortion, metropolitan & regional serious crime, and prosecutions.
Anthony is determined to enhance policing support for sport integrity stakeholders and continue to foster Victoria Police’s strategic relationships with sport governing bodies, government agencies and other law enforcement partners, while strengthening opportunities for intelligence sharing. Anthony’s extensive investigation management and criminal court experience, combined with critical thinking and an awareness of emerging challenges, positions him as a valued contributor within law enforcement in the joint endeavour to protect the integrity of sport.
