Tim Barnett is a former gaming executive turned regulatory and compliance adviser. After 20 years in gaming strategy and operations, he now supports the independent monitorship of a major Australian gaming group. Through Directpoint Advisory (DPA), Tim advises on remediation, risk, and regulatory compliance, and works within independent monitoring teams providing regulators with assurance that remediation programs are being properly implemented. DPA also delivers independent compliance testing in gaming venues across four states. Tim holds an LLB and BCom from the University of Melbourne, an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Master of War Studies from UNSW.
