Jamie has developed a deep expertise advising on the complex and increasingly restrictive regulations that affect operators and investors in the gaming and gambling sectors. His pre-eminent understanding of these sectors is consistently recognised in legal benchmark surveys and directories.
Jamie’s expertise extends to assistance to international parties in setting up business in Australia. He works closely with clients in developing their Australian business strategies, particularly in connection with the use of new technologies and where business is being conducted in a highly regulated sector. In addition to advising gambling industry participants and investors, he has assisted numerous direct selling/MLM companies, as well as retailers and e-commerce companies in understanding the Australian regulatory environment.
Jamie has been recognised as a leading gambling and gaming lawyer by several key ranking bodies including Chambers and Partners (in which he has been recognised as a Global Market Leader every year since 2008) and Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession.
