Jo Moore
Principal - Moore Legal & Advisory
Jo is a lawyer, consultant and experienced executive with over 25 years in the racing, wagering, sports and media sectors.
For over 20 years Jo held senior positions with Tabcorp Holdings Limited. This included 10 years in senior legal roles including General Counsel, Wagering & Media, during which time she acted in a number of key racing and wagering industry disputes including the Betfair/Race fields litigation and TVN litigation. Jo also had 10 years in senior strategy and stakeholder roles including GM Strategy and GM Industry Relations.
Prior to that Jo held positions at Australian law firms including top-tier firm, Clayton Utz, where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions, structural reform of government businesses (including privatisations) and advisory work in the gaming and wagering industries.
Jo is known for legal and risk acumen and for achieving results in strategic transformation projects including mergers, JVs and diversification projects. She has led and advised on significant wagering licence bids, numerous media rights agreements and structural reform deals with racing industry.
Last year Jo commenced her own legal and advisory practise servicing the sport, racing and wagering industries.
Jo holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Queensland University of Technology.
