Mark assumed the role of Managing Director at Inglis in mid-2007, becoming the first non-family member to lead the company. His professional journey is marked by versatility, encompassing 12 years as a naval officer and 8 years as a media executive at News Corporation, where he oversaw digital and newspaper operations.
Driven by a deep-seated passion for horse racing, breeding, and technology, Mark has spent over 16 years at Inglis implementing innovative strategies. His leadership has been instrumental in introducing transformative initiatives like the online bidding platform and digital sales platform. Notably, these advancements have recently expanded Inglis' reach into the burgeoning digital market of the USA.
In addition to these achievements, Mark has guided Inglis through significant transitions, including its relocation to Warwick Farm and the establishment of Riverside Stables and The William Inglis Hotel. His strategic investment in Ardex Technology, where he has served as Chairman since 2016, underscores his commitment to driving progress and excellence across diverse sectors.
