One of the most respected and knowledgeable bloodstock and breeding journalists in Australia, Tim has worked extensively in journalism across a 20-year plus career.
Having previously worked for ANZ Bloodstock News, Tim joined The Straight in September 2024 as senior journalist and has helped set agendas and break news on a range of stories in the breeding, bloodstock, racing and wagering spaces.
Tim’s extensive contacts across the thoroughbred industry have enabled him to cover the industry’s biggest stories, shining a light on the challenges faced by those who are professionally involved in racing.
Prior to working full-time in racing media, Tim was a general news, agriculture and sports journalist in NSW and Victoria.
