Jake Henson
Chief Executive Officer, BetMakers Technology Group
Jake Henson is an experienced wagering executive who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of BetMakers Technology Group, a global leader in B2B wagering technology.
Henson’s trajectory within BetMakers mirrors the company’s expansion. Joining the group over a decade ago, he held a sequence of foundational leadership roles including Head of Business Development, and Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to being appointed CEO in January 2023, Henson served as the group's Chief Operating Officer.
In that role, he successfully spearheaded the complex technical and operational integrations of major international acquisitions, including Global Betting Services, DynamicOdds, and Sportech PLC's racing and digital assets. This background established him as the operational anchor needed to transition BetMakers into its next phase of global profitability and scale.
Under his executive leadership, BetMakers has sharpened its focus as a "capital-light" technology and data provider. The company specializes in powering the global racing and sports betting ecosystem by offering end-to-end B2B solutions for bookmakers, racing bodies, and rights holders.
BetMakers' Global Tote software 'Quantum' is the most widely deployed pari-mutuel betting software in the world. The company's digital division features products such as the Apollo wagering platform, RaceOdds for fixed odds price generation and their proprietary global racing database, Racelab.
