Nadine Grinblat
Australasian Associate, Focal Research Consultants
Nadine has worked with a focus on safer gambling and harm minimisation policy, regulation, research, programs, and strategy since 2000 and joined Focal Research Consultants, an independent safer gambling research and technology company focused on gambling risk detection and player support, as an Australasian Associate in 2025.
Her industry career has spanned senior operational roles with key Victorian industry stakeholders and nationally with the Australasian Gaming Council, which she led as CEO from 2016-2024.
Admitted to practice in 2009, Nadine has degrees in both Arts and Law and is currently completing postgraduate studies in Psychology. She is a previous member of Victoria’s Responsible Gambling Ministerial Advisory Council, Queensland’s Safer Gambling Advisory Committee, and was a member of the Expert Advisory Panel for the Victorian Problem Gambling Research Centre’s ‘Guideline for Screening, Assessment and Treatment in Problem Gambling.’ A former Secretary of Australia’s National Association for Gambling Studies Nadine has spoken at multiple conference events and forums in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the United States and Europe.
