Suzy Neilan is Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), where she leads the state’s gambling regulator with a focus on reducing harm, strengthening industry integrity, and building community trust.
With nearly 20 years’ senior executive experience across the public and private sectors, Ms Neilan has led major regulatory, transformation and customer service reforms, including large-scale technology and legislative change programs in highly regulated environments. Prior to joining VGCCC, she held senior leadership roles at the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) and the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). She is focused on reducing gambling harm through a balanced approach that combines strong regulation, targeted education, and constructive engagement with industry.
