As a third-generation trainer, Michael seemed destined for a career in racing, but he carved his own path, first as a picnic jockey, then via overseas experience in Europe, the UK and the United States.
After gathering hands-on experience as a horseman and in bloodstock trading both domestically and internationally, Michael joined legendary trainer Mick Price in a what has been a highly successful training partnership in 2019.
In the six years since, Price Kent Racing have won over 800 races, including 11 Group 1s, preparing such stars as Jacquinot and I’m Thunderstruck.
