Aaron Morrison is the Chief Executive Officer of Racing Victoria, one of Australia’s largest and most significant sporting bodies, responsible for leading a multi-billion dollar industry spanning sport, entertainment, wagering, media and community engagement.
Victorian racing is the nation’s leading jurisdiction - the most watched, most wagered and most attended - and is home to globally recognised major events including the Spring Racing Carnival. The industry contributes more than $3 billion annually to the Victorian economy and supports a large statewide workforce and participant base across metropolitan and regional communities.
Racing Victoria also operates one of the largest media businesses in Australian sport, anchored by Racing.com and a broad network of distribution and content partnerships, using content to drive audience growth, engagement and wagering outcomes.
Aaron brings extensive executive experience across highly regulated and stakeholder-driven industries, including sport, media, gambling and wagering, and entertainment. His background includes significant leadership in complex commercial environments, government and regulatory engagement, and major rights, funding and partnership negotiations.
As CEO, Aaron is focused on strengthening the long-term sustainability of the industry, driving innovation and audience growth, and ensuring Victorian racing remains globally competitive while maintaining strong integrity and community outcomes.
