  • How do I register? Visit the BTP 2026 registration page and complete the online form. Registration is not confirmed until full payment has been received.

    How do I register as a sponsor? Sponsor registrations are managed separately. Once your sponsorship is confirmed, you will receive a personalised registration link to register your complimentary passes. Please use this link to complete your registration.

    How do I register as a speaker? Speakers will receive a personalised registration link directly from the BTP team. Please use this link to complete your registration. If you have not received your link, contact Kate Miller at btp@senetgroup.com.

    What are the ticket prices? Early Bird: $850 (ends 30 June) | Standard: $990 | Late Registration: $1,250 (from 21 August) | Networking Evening Only: $220. All prices include GST.

    Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague? Yes. Substitutions can be requested by emailing btp@senetgroup.com no later than 24 hours before the conference. Substitutions are subject to approval and an administration fee may apply.

    Can I share my ticket with someone else? Tickets are personal and cannot be shared. Each attendee must be individually registered.

    Can I register a group or team? Yes, group registrations are welcome. You can register multiple attendees at once and do not need to have all details confirmed at the time of booking. All attendee details must be completed no later than two weeks prior to the event.

    I have not received my confirmation email - what should I do? Check your junk or spam folder. If you still cannot locate it, contact btp@senetgroup.com and we will resend it.

    What payment methods are accepted? All major credit cards are accepted. If you require an invoice, please contact btp@senetgroup.com and we will arrange this for you.

  • CANCELLATION BY ATTENDEE

    Any request to cancel a Ticket must be made in writing to btp@senetgroup.com

    Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

    (a)   cancellations received more than 60 days before the first day of the Conference will be eligible for a refund of 75% of the fees paid;

    (b)   cancellations received 59 days or fewer before the first day of the Conference  will not be refunded.

    Any non-refundable booking fees, payment processing fees, accommodation costs, travel costs or similar third-party charges shall remain the responsibility of the Attendee unless the Organiser expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

    SUBSTITUTIONS

    A registered Attendee may request that a substitute attend in their place by written notice to the Organiser no later than 24 hours before the Conference.

    Substitutions are subject to the Organiser’s approval and any applicable eligibility requirements.

    The Organiser may charge a reasonable administration fee for substitutions.

    CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY ORGANISER

    The Organiser reserves the right to:

    (a)   alter the Conference programme, speakers, format, timing, Venue or content without notice; and/or

    (b)   postpone, reschedule, move online, relocate or cancel the Conference where reasonably necessary.

    if the Organiser cancels the Conference and does not reschedule it, the Attendee’s sole remedy shall be a refund of the Conference fees actually paid to the Organiser for the affected Ticket.

    If the Conference is rescheduled, the Organiser may elect to:

    (a)   transfer the Ticket to the new date; or

    (b)   offer a refund of the fees paid.

    The Organiser shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect loss, or for any travel, accommodation, subsistence or other personal expenses incurred by the Attendee.

  • Where is the conference held? RACV City Club and Conference Centre, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 - centrally located and a short walk from Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations.

    Where is the evening networking event held? The networking evening is held at The Waterside Hotel, Level 2, 508 Flinders Street, Melbourne (corner of King and Flinders Street) on Wednesday 2 September. Enter via the Flinders Street entrance and head to the Level 2 function space, accessible by lift or stairs. The venue is a short walk from the conference.

    What do I need to bring to the networking event? Your conference lanyard is required for entry. Attire is business casual and comfortable.

    What is the dress code? Business attire is recommended for both conference days and the evening networking event.

    Is the venue accessible? Yes. If you have any access, dietary or other requirements, please notify us at btp@senetgroup.com ahead of the event so we can make appropriate arrangements.

    Is accommodation included in my ticket? Accommodation is not included in the ticket price. However, RACV City Club offers a discounted room rate for BTP 2026 conference delegates. For details and booking information click here.

    Will there be parking available? The venue does not offer dedicated event parking but there are several commercial car parks nearby in the Melbourne CBD.

  • When will the full program be released? The full program will be published ahead of the event. Speaker and session announcements will be shared progressively via LinkedIn and email. Follow Backing the Punt to stay updated.

    What topics will be covered? The 2026 program covers regulatory reform, technology and innovation, media rights, responsible gambling, sports integrity and more across two full conference days.

    Is the evening networking event included in my ticket? Yes, the networking evening on Wednesday 2 September is included in full conference registrations. A standalone networking evening ticket is also available for $220 (inc. GST).

    Will conference materials be made available after the event? Post-event materials and analytics will be shared with registered attendees following the conference.
